www.usps.com and go to the zip code locator. Type in the address and it will give you the exact zip code.

I personally like the 10001 zip code because it is the most easiest to remember.

I live in Morningside Heights and my ZIP is 10027. I know 10006 is Greenwich Village. Other than that, there are a LOT. You'd have to specify the neighborhood.
