There is no such thing as perfect timing or the perfect thing to say when ending a relationship. It would be helpful for you to write everything down you want to say so you have it better organized in your head but irregardless someone is going to have his or her feelings hurt. It's inevitable. It's uncessary to be harsh, mean or cruel just be honest and genuine without making accusations just simply express how you feel and what you need to happen to be happy.
