I mean all we see is some small pieces of metal.I just havent seen a plane crash that looks like this.Can someone show me one that does?

Yeah, do you remember the plane crash in the Florida everglades? It went down and they had a really hard time finding much of anything. Also, have you seen the video of an F-4 hitting the concrete barrier made to protect nuclear power plants? The plane totally disintegrated.

The faster the plane is going, the smaller the pieces get. Also, the jet fuel fireball tends to incinerate anything flammable. It's not like a car crash. A 40MPH collision will totally mangle any car. Since momentum is mass * velocity^2, the destructive power increases exponentially with speed. Therefore, a 500MPH collision is 156 times more destructive than a 40MPH collision.
