My ex broke up with me a month ago and then I went to her work about a week ago to give her a note asking if we could talk about what was going on with her. She took it and then as I turned to leave she asked me how I was. I said good how are you. She said good and started to smile but when she saw that I was leaving that smile vanished and turned into a ya whatever look. What's it mean?? Am I looking too much into this or is this a signal from her? Keep in mind since she got that note she hasn't replied to it yet.

She still has feelings for you if she at least wanted to know how you were doing, and especially if her smile vanished as you were leaving- it probably meant that she wished you could have stayed longer. I'm pretty sure that while she broke up with you, maybe she just felt too much pressure or soemthing- I have no clue why you two even broke up in the first place...
Give her a few days for space and everything...things like that can be overwhelming sometimes...After, ask her about her point of view and why you two even broke up in the first place. Maybe she's just too stressed out, tell her that you just want her around and for you two to just spend time together if you were to ever get back and that you're not expecting anymore than that. Idk..

I don't think a note was the approiate way of trying to get back together . You should have called or ask her to meet you somewhere .
Its only natural she will ask you how you are when you got ready to leave. I really think that a note wasn't making her feel of any importance . It would be a natural reaction,I feel.
I would give her a call and ask her seeing that you already had given her the note if she got a chance to read it and how she felt , She !!!!!!!!!! Will respond most likely if you call her and if not , life goes on .Try another

If she doesn't want to talk and didn't respond to the note, it is time to move on! There is a guy that wrote a book that is called "He's not that into you!" and it tells women to get a clue - when a guy doesn't call, it means forget him, he is not into you!... in other words, she is not into you any longer. Move on for your own peace of mind, look elsewhere for companionship or take a trip... get her off your mind. If she was still interested, you would have heard from her. Life is TOO SHORT for mind games, so stop playing this mind game with yourself and move on.

I think that because she was at work she was trying to be polite. It's a bit crazy for you to show up at her job to give her a letter. Why did she break up with you? Obviously things weren't working out , and I find it hard to believe that she just left out of the blue. Things must have been going bad for a while for her to say that's it I'm done. Women put up with a lot of crap, but when they finally say I'm leaving or I'm done, they mean it.
I think that that letter is a little too late leave her alone.

Don't read too much into it. I would say that it did not mean anything since she has not gotten in touch with you.
You have made the first move and have done your part. When someone chooses not communicate, it is hard to have a relationship with that person and even harder to get closure about what went wrong too.
Don't chase after her. If the relationship means as much to her as it does to you, she will get in touch.If not, move on with your life.

She was happy that you came, but disappointed that you were leaving. She doesn't know how to act. But she wants you to act upon it. To show that you have a sincere interest and are willing to work for the relationship. If you want her back, take the inititave and make something happen. Fight for what you want.

Her lack of reply to your note says more than a possible potential smile (that perhaps you saw only because you wanted to). I'd say her actions (or inaction) says how she truly feels.

i think you should chill a bit and rely more on communication skills between the two of you to figure this out instead of reading into every move and breath she makes, your really just torturing yourself.
