naming my pup?

im getting a baby dachshund in about 3 months, and i need some help finding a name, please tell me which ones you like best and feel free to put in any other sugestions. the names i have picked out for my pup (its a boy) are Moose, Max, Ceaser, or Monty. idk, i like Monty the best, but please help, thanks! :-)

Caesar would be a good name since it'll be a while until the next Ides of March. Plus, not many dogs are named that.

Max and Ceaser are very common name.

Moose and Monty are cool. Personally like Monty also.

I prefer Moose or Monty.

Ceasar, I wouldn't choose because Julius Ceasar was betrayed by the Senate, specifically by his closest friend, Brutus. It's a great big leader name, but bad history with it. Plus if the name doesn't is too "big" for the dog, bad things tend to happen, but that's a superstition :P

Here are some names I like: Sidney, Shadow, Percy, Dexter, Lobo, Hector, Melvin, Stretch, Louie, Artie, Rawlie, Odie, Godfrey, Curtis, Hondo, Red............Monty is cute too though.

What about Bruno? A Roman name like Ceaser, but not so common!

I like moose, especially if the dogs brown. But you could also do things like:

Cricket, Ebony, Oreo, Tiger, --> those are all names that i know people have!

wow moose is such a cool name! Monty is ok, but my friends dog is called that and he is fat and lazy (still cute though), so that puts me off that name a bit.
