Why does my ex-girlfriend dont react when i asked her if its ok for me to court a new girl?

i know it sounds unusual to ask my ex-girlfriend if its ok with her if i start dating someone..
but i just did and what ive got was no response from her, i tried calling her but she doesnt answer my calls anymore..
the reason why im trying to do this is that i want to be sure if i really have to move on and forget about her coz i still do love her.

why is she acting this way? is it possible that she still loves me that's why she doesnt say a word

If you still love her, maybe it's not a good idea to court a new girl; even a worse idea to ask your ex if it's ok to go out with another. You said it yourself, you still love her so you probably might have to talk to your ex, work things out with her and maybe it's better (if she agrees to it) that you two get back together.

Well did she break up with you or did you break up with her? If she broke up with you, odds are she's thinking it was a mistake and wont talk to you about other girls because SHE wants to be that girl. If you broke up with her, she probably just thinks your a butt head. She also probably thinks it's rude that you're asking her about other girls. You two should still talk. Like sit one-on-one and talk about your relationship. Maybe you'll realize that you two still like each other. Then maybe something will happen again like a spark. I dont know but i think it's probably not best to keep asking her about other girls, and just talk to her like about other stuff.

Personally, I don't think you should have to ask your ex-girlfriend to date again. You are your own person, and if she still has a crush on you, she should ask you out again. You may love her, but you should move on, and she shouldnt be so overprotective.
