Paranoia. Paranoia could be a symptom of several disorders and if it is confined to only this belief alone and there are no other areas of impaired functioning or delusional thinking, it may be what is called Delusional Disorder, Persecutory Type.
I would qualify this with one thing, however, though it hopefully does not apply. If this girl is a victim of abuse, currently or in the past, it is possible that she may have actually been threatened at one time by the perpetrator that he would find her/kill her if she ever revealed what happened. Unfortunately it is not at all uncommon for abusers, especially when the abuse occurs at an early age, to threaten their victims and often the threats may be completely unrealistic, but young kids take them as fact. I have had adult survivors who are too terrified of old threats to even talk about what happened in therapy now that they are adults and even after the perp is dead as they believe that somehow the perp still has power over them. So before assuming it is a psychotic symptom, you would need to know that there is no true original source of the fear rooted in past trauma. I cannot begin to tell you how powerful these threats actually are for the victims.

It is not schiotzophrenia, in order for it to be that she has to be dilusiona, hear voices, and something else, it requires 5 out of 7 factors as mentioned in that psychoanlysis book.
I would say she just has an Irrational Fear, i dont think that alone, without additional symptoms qulifies her for a psychiatric disorder, however she is well on her way toward having one if eventually this will prevent her form going outside , etc.

It could be as simple as too many horror movies but if the fear is controlling her behaviour or causing her to be a threat to herself or others she needs help. A psychitric condition should no be diagnosed by amatures on the internet!

What to call it seems less important to me than what to do about it.
She needs to seek help for this. It's not good to keep going on like this.
Explain to her that there's something not right here, but there are people who can help her.
This IS fixable, with help.
