Yeah that's where you do calisthenic exercises in a sandy area and you don't stop until you are completely covered in sand.

Sugar cookies suck, but sawdust in your crack is worse!!! :)

Well, I was a NAVY sugar cookie a few times...

In 1986, I went thru Rescue Swimmer School (SAR)... our kind and loving instructors would run us along the beautiful nature trails of NAS Pensacola in the FINE summer weather (90F, 90% humidity) of Florida on a daily basis.

They would generously let us rest every few miles of the 12 mile run... typically in a prone position... with push-ups or flutter kicks... it would allow us to gather our breath and cool the sweat from our bodies as the instructors gathered dirt or sand from the trail or beach and covered us !!

We would then resume our nature run... the coating of sand providing us with FREE exfoliation !! Typically of the area of our thighs where our UDT shorts ended !!

At the end of the run we would be permitted to cool down in the wonderful waters of Pensacola Bay... the water rinsing away the skin that had been cleansed from our thighs... and also rinsing away the blood !!

The instructors would then kindly have us roll in the sand... to permit the sand to help coagulate any remaining blood from our abrasions.

Strangely... we looked like SUGAR COOKIES often.
