I think the thing that throws a lot of people off is the fact that it was first called global warming and a lot of people were saying "it's not always warmer".
It's better if it was recognized by the name climate change because that is what it truly is and a lot more people can relate to that.
And yes, climate change is real.....look at the weather changes around the world, you'd have to be an idiot to dispute the VERY obvious changes.
There are still a very small amount of scientists who dispute this but most of them are in the pockets of big companies who don't want to have to spend millions to make their businesses stop pumping so much pollution out, so they pay these scientists to say there is no change.
The vast majority of scientists agree that climate change IS real.

Well, some say that it's just a natural cycle in the earth's climate, but I think it's global warming. Ever seen the movie The Day After Tomorrow? That could be what happens to us someday. It's already happening on a much smaller scale. I live near Washington DC and it was in the 70s all week, and then it dropped to 30 and it snowed!

Its not surprising that you are confused. Even climatologists are now admitting that things have been vastly overhyped (see The Observer, March 18 2007). And the climate change lobby is more like a religious movement than a scinetifically led action group - most participants haven't a clue about the science.

Put simply, there is very strong evidence that the gobal climate is warming at present. In fact, it warmed for the first part of the 20th century, then cooled sharply (to the extent that scientists forecast an overdue ice age) and has been warming again for the past 30 or so years.

The cause of the warming is much, much harder to pin down. There is compelling evidence that it has nothing to do with carbon dioxide emissions (and in fact emissions from technology form only a very small part of total emissions - most comes from life itself and vulcanicity).

Because the cause is not clearly identified it is hard to predict what the future holds. For instance, models that implicate carbon dioxide cannot explain why temperatures fell in the mid to late 20th century.

What is clear is that if the warming follows its current trend it will lead to some serious changes in world climate that will badly affect humans.

Yes it does exsist. and it a threat. we should worry about it too. We (as humans) created it and it is our job to take it away. the climate is being ruined by the ozone layer which is being eaten up by pollution.
driving a car=creating pollution=destoying the ozone layer= climate shift= the deaths in animals=extintion= food web destroyed=more extinctions=fall of man.

then you are not looking for evadance in the right places. I sent this letter to Al Gore:

Putting the technology together to start cleaning up and reintroducing new ozone to the atmosphere is possible. The cost and size of this project means taking a long term commitment. I am proposing the biggest cleanup in history. Al, I do not see any proposal that is realistic or proven at any cost, not even Washington can solve this problem. But if every person on earth does his or her share, we may be ok. Never-the-less, I see governments acting like a deer in a car’s headlights and people doing the same thing. The inevitable is almost upon us. Cleanup and change is the only option.
The first cleanup machine starts with a ten billion dollars investment. Ten year later with twenty-five machines operating, these machines will produce enough ozone to replace both holes at the poles. But more importantly, these machines will remove chemicals that deplete the ozone. Beyond making ozone, decreasing the poisons that deplete ozone, these machines reduce the major greenhouse gases and unbelievably we can have all this for fewer than one hundred billion dollars.
Beyond cleaning up our atmospheric mess as I am suggesting, we humans must do a better job reducing or cleaning up carbon monoxide, collecting and storing methane and ethane for fuel, burning less of everything, cleaning up our forests and using more solar insolation. Solar steam electric generators are the type of systems we need and are 90 percent efficient and near 100 percent if heat recovery is used. I believe nearly 30,000 MW are needed in the USA and Mexico over the next 30 years. This opens the door to new electric cars, new construction vital to our way of life, new bullet trains, and these industries produce new high paying jobs. From small scale solar generators on malls, to 2000 acre collector sights, these systems are viable and ready for production. The Federal Government must give up some land, money and have less regulation to help save the planet from disaster.
Al, spreading the message that we can help ourselves is a key to the development of these businesses. Washington can help: the businesses need grants, patents, land and regulations. Congress must create a pollution surcharge. From gas, coal, diesel, wood to cooling towers, from cattle, other ranches to cigarettes, from agriculture burning to airplane passengers, this surcharge can fund parts of these projects and many stationary pollution control devices in general.
Your personal support is very important to getting the atmosphere cleanup started and developing sights for solar generators.

Sincerely,

But you need to understand the effects of haylons like CFC's

yes it exist.. but in early days people don't know what are the effects of it and they never think of it... in your wide thinking asking this question.. you are aware of global warming.. it exist but it is not been recognize by humans... this days, we can feel it by means of changing of weather in different matters.. too much heat and to much cold.. in some places, ice melts too fast and lands dries fast.

What exactly is your question? You say the evidence is convincing but you don't believe it? Maybe you don't want to believe it. In fact, I'm pretty sure you don't.

Yes. Just do a little research, and you find huge amounts of data and scientific support. Like:

http://www.realclimate.org/

http://www.pewclimate.org/

You have to look at the scientific data. That's how science works. Glib arguments don't prove anything. Like that silly movie "Swindled".

The main gases that say cause it ,I can not find or measure it. If the gas is not there neither is global warming.
