If you are muscular, you may only need to drop about 10. Healthy foods is the best way, but don't expect fast results if you have trouble losing. Stay with it long-term and be patient. If you lose 1 pound a week, that can be enough. Stay away from the mind-set of rewarding yourself or eating something bad "just this once".

You are perfect the way you are. You are young, everything is nice and perky. Just walk, lots. Everywhere. Keep the junk food to an occasional treat, once or twice a week, and don't gorge when you treat yourself.
When you have your meals, always have a fruit or vegetable and make sure that the produce covers half your plate. Your meat and starch (potato, rice, pasta) should be a 1/4 each of your plate.
Take it from someone who is now 40 and been on and off a diet since I was 14, just stay active and eat healthy. Don't obsess about the number on the scale. For me, it's all I think about and I can never really enjoy other parts of my life. Trust me, you are beautiful, and I wish someone said that to me at 14.
Good luck.

Well your BMI is 25.1 and your normal weigth range is between 108 and 132. But I'd say don't focus so much on losing weight. Give yourself a healthy lifestyle. Eat more fruits, veggies and whole grains. Don't forget to add calcium in there and get excercise. Eating the right foods will help you lose weight, feel better and will even give you a more vibrant complexion as will excercising. Ease yourself into it. The changes will come.

It doesn't matter if you eat healthy foods, that alone will not make you lose weight. It is all about calories in vs calories out. You must east less calories than you expend to lose weight. I.e: Eat 1500, expend 2000 for a 500 calorie deficit. Over a week 500 x 7 = 3500, which is the equivalent to the loss of 1 pound of fat.
You can achieve this deficit through a combination of diet/exercise.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

Don't worry about weight! I'm the same age as you and i don't even know how much i weigh! You're growing up, having fun should be what you are aiming for! if you're active and have fun then the weight should eventully go! It doesn't even matter how much you weigh, you should worry about it when you're 18 or something!

Forget about your weight and all those stupid charts. If you excercise every day and eat healthy, that is the important thing. Just keep it up, and don't worry about the stupid scale.
The important thing is that you are a good person, not a good-looking person.

At 5 foot tall you should weigh 100 pounds after that you should add 5 pounds per inch in height. so you should weigh 120. My friend is doing this diet with the special K and fruit and no bread and lite dinners and has lost 9 pounds in a little over 2 weeks.
