It really is worth taking her to the vets and having her scanned to make sure, then you can plan properly and get reliable advice, and also have someone to call if you feel worried at any time.
I wouldn't worry so much if they weren't chihuahuas, but small breeds often have problems with birth, particularly if there is a chance that she mated with a larger dog (chihuahua breeders usually use a small male and a large female). For this reason a vet visit would be good. Good luck!

Please do the responsible thing and take your dog to a veterinarian for an examination. Pregnancy is a serious condition, especially in toy breeds. If your dog is pregnant you will need to change her diet, make sure her physical health is accounted for, learn how to monitor the birthing for any signs of distress that require a veterinarian to intervene, and learn how to provide a safe, warm environment for the newborns. Any problem stemming from mis-advice or ignorance may result in death of the mother and or puppies...
There is no Internet site that can determine your dog's state of health, physical needs, and give advice specific to your case. This is why we have licensed veterinary professionals to provide information and health care, especially during critical times such as illness, pregnancy, birthing, and trauma. We don't just give yearly shots! We are here to help you.
Please do the right thing and take her in to your veterinarian. Your dog's life may just depend on it!

I'd suggest taking both your dogs to the vet and get a proffesional opinion on the situation. They can also give you good, ACCURATE information on how to care for the mother while she's pregnant, while she's in labor and everything you'll need to provide after the puppies are born. Too many times do people take this situation too lightly and the ones who suffer are the mom and her puppies.
