I was making lunch with my family and I had to wash meat off of my hands. So I had to use Dawn Dish Washing Soap to get the grease off of my hands. First, my hands started to feel really itchy then they turn red. Now, they are completely swollen. Is this some weird allergic reaction?

Have you used Dawn before?

It sounds like an allergic reaction but there's no sure way of knowing just based on the information provided. Try taking 2 Benadryl and giving it 24 hours. If things don't improve or get worse, seek medical treatment.

I wish you the best!

Dish washing soap isn't good for hands! My hands get dry when I use it. They don't swell, but I definitely notice redness and dryness. Your skin is probably just more sensitive than mine. Just use lotion every day until your hands return to normal, and stay away from dish soap! Use a soap with a moisturizer in it instead! :)
