it isn't a zit, it doesn't have anything to pop, it's just a lump, what could it be?! :S

i'm a surgical intern and cysts are the number one thing that we see. place two fingers around the lump and attempt to move it.. if the lump feels soft to the touch and moves like your skin then it's alright and will most likely go away in a few days. if the lump is hard, and does infact ache then you need to go to see a general surgeon.
we usually just remove them in the office and most only need two or three stitches.
in the meantime, don't touch it and try to ignore it. but please go see a surgeon.
best of luck~

If it feels like a zit, and it looks like a zit, then it's probably a zit. Put some pimple cream on it and don't pick at it.

It is probably a cyst, or more scientifically a ganglionic cyst. They fill up with excess oil mad by your body. The best thing to do is to leave it alone, after you try to dry it up with rubbing alcohol.

If this is not an infection from piercing,
It is probably a scist of some kind.
Go to a doctor and have it removed ASAP!
