Wisconsin or any other state for that matter, its an easy reply to say get a Honda or Toyota but in your price range CONDITION becomes the main factor, Mfg, Model, Year and Miles takes the back seat.

Testing a vehicle in your price range knowing what your doing is what its all about, when you find a vehicle you may consider, go to this webpage and follow the steps http://www.usedcartips.org/TESTDRI.html from there navigate to the main page and learn a few steps how to buy a used car...$ 5G's is a fair chunk a little homework on your part lessens the fear having a lemon in your driveway, good luck.

Visit a few car lots, see whats out there in your price range, and put them through the test.

A Honda or Toyota would be great and you could put another 100,000 on them.
