There is a lady i work with in a different office about 200 miles away and we have been emailing each other for about a month and exchanged pictures and talked on the bussiness phone work related and personnel matters her freind emails me and gives hints that she is very interested she is always asking me about the other women in my life and i always tell her the only women in my life right now is my daughter. Well she gave me her number for me or another girl i work with, who is like a sister to me, to call her so i call her a couple of days ago, twice and no answear. she did not email me the next day and thats not like her at all she usually has 2 emails waiting on me when i get to work. I dont want to seem like a stalker but want to know where we stand she is a wonderful person and i want to continue communication with her but i just need to know where to go help please

i have not emailed her back since i tried to call her should i email her back once or just wait for her to email me. I will have to talk with her again die to work do i just act like nothing ever happened?

Take my MAN advice:
I know how you feel, I know your worries, and I understand how you think. Don't let her understand how you feel for her now. Wait, be patient, and be the strong party in this new born long distance relationship. Don't call her or send her again, wait for her to do it, and when she does, do NOT unleash your feelings please. Show some "ummm I thought you'd answer my phone but whatever" and just talk about normal stuff as if you're very interested in that normal stuff!!! If she was truly into you this'd drive hercrazy, leading her to get more into you even! Show her how much you're "rushing" for her, and lose your high chair in her heart, period, end of story.

Well, one great way to slide back into your previous, kinda flirty, kinda not routine is to send her a couple of semi-work related emails. Maybe she wasnt home/or outta work. Don't read too much into it. Just slide back in with a casual work email with a little p.s. and then a non offensive personal comment. That should pave the way for smooth sailing again. This time, after things are back on track, try giving her your number. Then you won't have to worry about how your coming across, and shell be flattered that your putting yourself out there. =] good luck*

I would say that the feelings are not the same on their part. No news is bad news almost always, in my experience. You made the move, now wait and see - and if no response, forget it. Don't beg for someone to like you by hounding them. You know they got the email, so sit back and wait - and move on if no response.

Well maybe she's on vacation or not at work because of an illness. Don't jump to conclusions when her pattern of behavior towards you showed interest. Write her once, ask her how she's doing and send some funny jokes along with it.
