Yes there are. The smart thing to do would be to study your unsat civilian butt off and get accepted to the Naval Academy. Force Recon needs officers as well as grunts.

Yes there is, and even a Navy Seal program. Keep in mind if you didn't know already the Navy owns the Marines, Seals. There are multiple weapons security codes to choose from. If you can pass the tests, you'll on your way. Just keep in mind there are differences between Special Forces aka police, Armament Systems Specialist aka weapons loader onto a fighter jet, EOD Explosive Ordinance Disposal aka ?? bomb didn't go off, you better go over there and find out why not (scary job) but it pays more, Special Ops, Sniper and there is more. Just make sure you look at the job books with your recruiter before joining. And MAKE SURE YOU GET A GUARANTEED JOB ON PAPER BEFORE YOU GO DOWN TO MEPS OTHERWISE THEY WILL CHOOSE YOUR JOB FOR YOU. WAIT IF NEED BE, UNTIL YOU GET THE JOB YOU WANT. AND DON'T TAKE ANY RECRUITER B.S.

Son, the Marines ARE a special force and they ALL are weapons specialists. Their modus operandi is "Every man a rifleman". And they make sure, before you even graduate boot camp, that you are a specialist with that rifle.
That said, what you do is, when you talk to the recruiter, tell 'em you want to be trained in a variety of weapons systems and you'll find there are several different ways to do that. You might find that the idea of being the guy who keeps all those weapons functioning is more appealing than just shooting them - or you may find that small arms interest you more than artillery. Or what they hey - maybe you'd just LOVE to be the guy who yanks the lanyard on that bad ol' howitzer and brings smoke on the a r s e s of the bad guys! So the best place to get an answer to your question is - your local Marine Corps recruiter. Do it! And son? ...Semper Fi!

The closest thing they have to a weapons specialist is a gunner, which is a chief warrant officer, that has expertise in all infantry weapons organic to an infantry battalion.
I'm pretty sure they also have regimental and division gunners too.
Marines don't have special forces, per se,. You need to be in the infantry. From there, you can try out for snipers, or reconnaissance.
I think you need to become a staff NCO, before you can become a warrant officer.

Marines have just recently been authorized to have a SOF operation. Marines as a rule, were always a SOF. Weapons specialists are common in the Corps as Force Recon, and small arms.
Got to get through boot and request such opportunities, later.
Speak with your local recruiter.

Ok first off. You'll have to be in the Marines to be able to be tested later on. after you prove to be a good candidate i am sure they'd put you in consideration for possible recon or such. BUT that's only if you pass they're specific tests for that chapter of the Marine Corp.
