Why do Big Red wrappers burn when you stick them on your forehead?

If you lick a Big Red wrapper and stick it on your fore head it burns. Why does it do that?

because the Cinnamon on the wrapper is going into your pours and your pours are open because your spit opened them

likely the cinnamon. notice how it makes your mouth hot too? i guess it is better that you are sticking gum wrappers on your head, then drugs in your body.. but, what is that about??
