Without a doubt, 9/11 was so important for aviation security, It created the TSA (Travel Safety Administration), made it illegal for immigrants to go to flight school in America without special permission, made it illegal for non-ticketed passengers to be in the steril area, and started the "no-fly-list" for people that may pose a threat to security...
