That depends on the meat. It's best to consult the "use by" date on the labeling. Even deli's have to include it on their custom sliced meats.
Cured meats last longer than others.
If in doubt, do the smell and touch method. If it smells suspect or you feel a slick substance on the meat hen throw it out. Better to waste alittle than to have a huge hospital bill for food poisioning.

3 days. Wrapped in cellophane or in a zip lock bag. As soon as the meat starts to look glossy witha rainbow type reflection on it throw it out. Deli meats can be carriers of botchulism.
