Hey guys, I need some shaving tips for the underarms. I can never seem to get all of the hairs, and the hairs that I do get still seem like the very tips of them are still there.

I'm 13, I use the shick intuition razor but it doesnt seem to do a very good job. Any advice?

Take your time and make sure u have a sharp razor. Also make sure the lighting is good so that u can see them all. Also make sure u r not useing to much shaving cream sometimes it stops the razor from actually getting the hair.

I use the gillette venus and it works really good.
It's better if you shave towards the end of your shower - the steam has opened your pores and you can do much better job then. I also don't shave just in one direction because armpit hair doesn't grow in one direction either. I go up and down with the razor and then also sideways to achieve a really smooth look!

i've used that razor before, and finally came to the coclusion that it's just not good for underarms. maybe the blades cannot fully reach the hair or something. i use a disposable razor, and make sure to make strokes from all directions because underarm hair grows from all different directions. you can use soap or shaving foam, though i prefer foam.

The intuition razor is very big and bulky. You can manuver around better with a disposable razor with two blades. You're less likely to get razor burn and more likely to reach all of the hairs!
xo love

I have the same problem. I think it is because the blade is dull and you need to replace it, however I don't really think that that razor is very good at close shaving. I would buy a different one.

the venus razor works fairly well for those awkward places because it has a bending head.

also, make sure you're using shaving cream!

and unfortunately, armpit hair just doesn't like to get shaved.

rinse the razor in hot water often ... that way the heat from the blade will bring blood to the durface of the skin and make the hairs stand up more ....or wax

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

Please stop shaving your underarms. I used to do it when I was young and the hair became really thick and rough. It is much better to have it waxed. The hair comes out really fine and it takes much longer to grow back.
