So you have this pimple in this weird spot, and eventually it gets popped but leaves a sore mark... what can you do? Is Neosporin the best route, or are there better topical creams for healing?

Just to clarify - the pimple is gone, the red spot is not.

The BEST way is to put triple antibiotic ointment (like Neosporin) on it and leave it open, not covered with a bandaid. It will decrease the inflammation and decrease the time it takes to heal, and also protect it from the elements and dirt and other germs.
Good luck!

What I do is just wash my face and leave it alone..it should heal in a couple days.

Neosporin will help...try a dab of honey periodically or a capsule of vitamin E (prick it with a pin and apply contents of capsule)
