Nowadays, there's no particular "in-season" for most types of produce, including peanuts. The peanuts you buy today will be as good/fresh as the ones you buy in September. (it's worth pointing out that peanuts also keep very well)

Supermarkets rely on growers throughout the world, so right now (for example) the asparagus grown in Chile might be at it's peak. In two months, Chile might not be producing quite as much asparagus, but they'll have an abundance of corn. Then, in July/August, the corn you find in supermarkets will be American-grown, because it's widely available at that time.

So, the peanuts you purchase ought to be just as good, any time of year.

everyday is peanut season,,,buy vacum packed always the freshest,,bag nuts will age with time,,even if still sealed,,,buy cans with the pull tab,,or planters with the seal,,everday is peanut season,,,enjoy
