Ok, so I have this really good internship at MTV... Thats over in June... School is getting really expensive for me, I live in Los Angeles which is extremely expensive in itself (gas right now is $3.25), and I live 1500 miles away from home, SO I was thinking of dropping out of school this semester (which is over in June, as well)...

Thing Im worried about is will I not be able to get a good job in this industry if I drop out? Will having the Internship at MTV mean anything without a bachelors degree? And what are the chances of me being hired once its over. Im doing exceptionally well and they seem like they really like me... Im just so confused on what direction to take with my life right now!!! lol

It's not just the education you receive with a degree that bosses are looking for. They want to know the people they employ are dedicated, committed, go-getters, goal-setters and goal-accomplishers.

Get whatever loans you need and finish your degree. Student loans are the cheapest money you can borrow, so don't feel bad about it. Plus, the return on your investment over your lifetime are going to be good, so it's actually 'good' debt.

Find cheaper ways to live in the city - sell your 'newer' car and get an older reliable car with no payments and liability-only insurance, buy clothes only at thrift stores, buy gas at the cheapest gas station around (I live in SM and there's an Arco with gas that's $3.07 right now), don't eat out, buy groceries at the Mexican and Armenian markets (produce is usually incredibly cheap there), don't drink alcohol (it's an expensive form of entertainment), don't buy anything you don't absolutely need to get by until you finish school and get a full-time job.

whats up dont be so no longer hassle-free on your self. of course your degree is extremely worth some thing. you're 22 including your bachelors, you're doing super. there are some peopl your age that dont even have their h.s. degree! i think of it incredibly is a huge concept which you wanna pass back and get your masters at this cost you will get your PhD by ability of the time you're 30, that'd be super! whats up i'm questioning at 22 you dont have that many expenditures, a minimum of no longer while in comparison with say a 35 year old married guy w/ some childrens, and you're able to arise with the money for to take a decrease paying interest just to get your foot interior the door and for the journey, it will help you get a greater advantageous gig interior the long-term. only determine you're gaining goog journey which you will doubtlessly use someplace else, in different words that is greater advantageous to get a decrease paying interest which will furnish good discovering tactics and opportuninty for progression than a "good paying" ineffective end interest. good success, you're on the splendid song. dont be so certainly discouraged.

Student loans are a fact of life.

If you are going to drop out, make sure you have a job that you want to do that you can go to 1st.

It is very hard to get a job if you aren't in school and don't have one.
