Why not refuse to go along and insist on cooking instructions in imperial measurements along with metric?

In Canada, they would never dream of making a French-Canadian read English instructions to any type of product sold on the market; it's part of their cultural heritage.

What's the difference? Imperial weigths are part of your cultural heritage. Maybe you can sue.

1.325kg = 1325g

So 1325 / 450 * 40 = 117.777777

So cook it for about 118 minutes (or about 2 hours).

1.325/.450 = 2.94 x 40 = 118 minutes cooking time for the whole portion. If you cook one third of the portion , the cooking time remains 40 minutes.

Now, invite me to dinner please?
