Have you already made them? If so, take a butter knife and slide it around the outside of the cupcake against the pan. They should come out easier. If you haven't made them already, the paper cupcake liners are the best. If you don't want to get any of those, put a little flour in each muffin tin after you have greased the pan, then shake it around to coat, and shake excess off into sink. Then fill with cake.

good luck

I use the silicone cupcake/muffin pans and put cupcake liners in them. This not only makes them cook faster, but they are more moist when they are done, as well as due to the flexibility of the pan they are easier to remove. I use a fork or a knife and gently slide it along the cupcake/muffin liners to the bottom and lift them out. They come out without a dent.

I use paper cupcake/muffin liners. Not only does it make them pop out of the pan easier, it makes cleaning the pan a breeze. I HATE washing a muffin pan that has caked on batter on it.

Yow can use silicone cupcake cups. They are reuseable and you arent left with the little paper liner when your done. They work very well. They are a little pricey but well worth the price. Here is a site to see them and order but i have seen them cheaper at major department stores or craft stores.

Using paper cups works the best - wait until they cool, and then gently tip the pan over.
