If you had one tylenol and 1 regular does of Dayquil, it shouldn't be a problem, but try not to take both at the same time.
Tylenol might help for a headache but it will not help with achey/feverish feeling

For this, you would be better off with Neo-citran drink, instead of tylenol
Contains medicine for Achey/fever like Pheniramine maleate and Phenylephrine Hydrochloride as well as Tylenol

You should always compare the ACTIVE INGREDIENTS. Especially when it comes to combination medications like this that treat multiple symptoms. Double dosing is very common with these types of formulations.
Likely the DayQuil contains tylenol (acetaminophen). A one time double dose is not problem however if you do this every time it can be. You might want to switch to Motrin (Ibuprofen) instead so your not doubling up.
It should take about 30 minutes to 1 hour to work.
Hope you feel better.

Wellll, both medications contain the active ingredient in tylenol. It should take effect in 30-45 minutes. This one time won't kill you BUT read before you swallow. Tylenol(acetametaphin)is not remotely harmless(as the ads would lead you to believe) and can cause liver failure in constant massive overuse.
