I’ll tell you my story first. Several years ago I didn’t think that there was a problem with people who went around sharing their faith. I just politely turned them away. There was a group of these guys in my neighborhood who always caught up with me at the same time and place, where I waited for the bus on my way to work. I always turned them away and went on my way. Then one day the leader of the group became enraged and they all beat me black and blue. I was in a coma for two days, and all of my ribs were broken. I healed up okay, but the real pain came when on the first day of the trial. The Prosecutor forgot to forward a piece of evidence to the defense, and the judge dismissed the case out right. They all praised Jesus for being set free and never once indicated that they had any sympathy for me.

Why would anyone hate Jesus for what a person does or does not do?
I once had a Muslim stick a gun in my face and tell me I either renounced Jesus and admitted there was no God but Allah and Mohammad was his prophet.
After I took the gun away from him I did not make him or his friends do anything except run.
I don't hate God or Mohammad because people do stupid things. Why would anyone hate God or Jesus because people do stupid things.
Hey, maybe we could all hate Kevin Costner because some guy in Bangladesh used the canister from a Kevin Costner film to break a window and steal something.
That would make just as much sense as your story and your premise for hating Jesus.
PS: No this guy can't sue anyone because if the prosecutor had the case for assault dismissed a Federal prosecutor would have brought violation of civil rights charges. In addition this would have made every major news service from India to Hawaii if it had been true.

It isn't Jesus you should hate. That group is made up of maniacs along the lines of the nut that attends soldier's funerals to protest the war. They have no right to claim Jesus helped them escape prosecution. You may never see it but they will be held accountable for their actions. It's not much of a comfort, I know, but it is true. No one escapes God's justice even misguided people who claim they love God.

That is a very very sad story! I am so sorry for you.
However, it was not Jesus fault. Those men were obviously not following God's teachings. They were probely some wacky extremist (like people who bomb abortion clinics or drink tainted koolaid, all in the name of God). God does not teach us to be that way.
Also, the government has done everything to keep God out of the law (separation of church and state) Therefore, the actions of the judge/court system is not lead by faith or religion...

Jesus gives his believers an abundant life. Jesus sent his people to come and tell you the good news about Jesus but you turned them away. If you had exepted Jesus as your saviour years ago, this might not of happened to you.

If Jesus existed, he was a good guy. So don't hate him.

Shame on the judge and jesus did not do this to you. No one should hate Jesus but either love or admire Him, even if you do not believe in himj. I do not follow Jesus but have to admire the lessons he has given us that are as relevant today and they were then

Based on their actions, I think those boys don't even know Jesus.
Too bad about the trial, can you get them in a civil suit for your medical losses/pain and suffering?
