I need to equally disperse weight in an area, it's 12in by 12in = 144 sq.in. Until weights 100LBS, on 4 legs.
What calculations are there to spread point weight equally across a metal plate.

Your data is confusing! Are you interested in determining the the thickness of a foot-square metal plate supporting 100 lbs. on 4 legs located at each corner-- OR -- are you trying to determine where on a foot-square metal plate should you locate a 100 lb. point load so the reactions on the four corner legs are all equal??
