I keep getting little coughing fits where my eyes and nose streams and it feels like my throats swelling up. It doesn't last long, and I'm fine the rest of the time, I can't figure out what's causing it though. Any ideas please?

I have had the same thing for months! once a day, just get a really bad coughing fit, once it is over that is it! Went to see the nurse at my GP, and she listened to my lungs and said they were wheezy, and put me on an inhaler. It did not help, so I have just been to see the GP, who said my lungs were now clear, but has given me antibiotics and a different inhaler to use just morning and night. She thinks it is low grade asthma, and has also given me a gadget to do a 'flow' test for a month to see how that pans out. We think it is related to the fact that i worked in a smoky pub for a year....Just makes you feel so drained!

I would go and get it checked out if it continues, even just for your own peace of mind. Take care and good luck

Sounds like it could be an allergy. Have you changed your fabric softener recently?
