I'm gay and I find myself constantly attracted to straight guys. Most overtly-gay guys totally turn me off even though all my friends are often commenting on how hot they are, but I don't see it. I can appreciate it, but I'm just not attracted to them. What's wrong with me?

Do all these overtly-gay guys act really really gay? ((not meaning that in a cruel way in the least bit.)) Like are they acting really flamboinent i guess i'm trying to say. Maybe that's why your only attracted to straight guys. Because you havent' found a gay one that isn't too flamboinent. There's nothing wrong with that. And one day you'll find one. I hope i helped. My husband is a big, burly, manly type of guy. Gay men have been hitting on him for as long as I've known him (@least 15 years) so there are plenty of gay guys like you.
There's nothing wrong with not being attracted to overtly-gay guys. It's just a personal preference, like guys who prefer blondes or brunettes.
I'm a teacher and when I was looking for help with a lesson plan, I typed in "teddy bear" and got several gay porn sites. Now, I'm not trying to direct you to porn sites, but perhaps if you make your preference known on a dating site you'll have better luck.
Don't be so hard on yourself. Be choosey and don't settle.

Maybe it's because they're harder to get [if you can even get them to consider a bisexual experience at all] and, regardless of sexual orientation, that's a turn on for a lot of people. If you can persuade them that men have an advantage on the performance of fellatio, you may have an inroad--especially if they've had a few drinks or some bumps.

I'm not sure on this one.Because(no offense) but I'm straight and I haven't had any experiances with this.(no offense,Again)but try asking another gay guy that is going through the same thing.

Honey , I think that you like them because they are straight. Straight men act different than gay. I think you like the way they act. Deep inside you , you may even admire them.
What exactly you admire on them? It can't be physical because some gay are handsome too. I think it's the way they act , you like the way they behave.

Maybe you subconsciously are looking for a way to avoid having a gay relationship...wanting what you can't have is one way to avoid intimacy.
