does my friend like me even though she says she doesnt think of me in that way?

she recently broke up with her bf (~3 weeks ago) and now we've been hanging around a lot. she says that i fit all her "standards" for being her boyfriend, but shes known me way to long to think of me as boyfriend material. but, when we were talking, and sitting on my couch, she said she needed a boyfriend more than a few times to me, then kept saying this is a time to be spontaneous when we were sharing secrets. we joke around alot, and tease each other, and when she grabs my arm, she tends to hold on to it. i think if i make the first move, she'll go with it, but ive never kissed a girl before, and i dont know how to do it or when. help please?

i have been in your situation kind of. i fell for my best friend but he kept saying to me that our friendship meant to much to him to risk it going wrong. and although i didnt at the time, i now see his point. if we had got together and it went wrong, we would have both lost a great friend. but as it was, we couldn't lose anything, we both still had each other as a friend, and our friendship is stronger than ever.
if she really doesnt want more than friendship, then be a good friend, be there for her. if you think she will definatly go for it if u make the first move, and you are sure it is what u want, then go for it. but as a girl, please dont do the unthinkable...don't ask her if u can kiss her. it is what we hate the most. u just have to do it, we love it when men are spontaneous and surprise us. so when you two are alone, just lean in and kiss her gently on the lips then move away. at that point she will either run off (hopefully not...) or move in to kiss u back. just go for it if u think it is rite!!

well they both broke up 3 weeks ago. u shouldnt go out with her tht fast if she already had bf. u should stik with being friends first. then whenever ur ready, giv her a chance
