That depends on the partner. Sometimes it can be really head-over-heels if you're both dying for a shag...

I believe that sex should wait for marriage, but I know that most people don't share my opinion on this. You definitely should wait until there is a real committment before having sex -- as in, you should at the very least have formally agreed that neither of you is going to see other people. Even better if you wait until you're engaged.
But, as I said in the beginning, it's best to wait until marriage. I've failed to live up to that standard in the past, and I regretted it every time. Not out of religious guilt, but because I ended up getting too attached (sex can have that effect) to see flaws that would've had me running away screaming if I hadn't been so invested in the relationship. Best to maintain enough distance to really learn who you're dealing with before giving yourself completely. It's hard to maintain that distance from someone you're sleeping with.

Generally, I made my partners wait at least a year. I started having sex when I was 161/2 but I was always in a long term relationship. Guess that's why I have only been w/ three people.

Whenever you feel that the time is right. I would advise for you to wait until after marriage--that way you can be sure that he's in the relationship more than just sex. But if you both feel that the time is right, then that's your choice. Just keep in mind the risks of having sex. Would you be ready to face the consequences if they came? Pregnancy? Possible STIs? Awkwardness?

I think that having sex isn't necessary if your under 25. Unless your married or you want children running around everywhere. Until then... don't do it.
You shouldn't have sex for fun. Instead take care of yourself and live happy. You are the most important person in your life. So why ruin yourself for another person? Wait til you think it's right to do it. You don't want to make the wrong decision and have to deal with it for the rest of your life.

I've waited anywhere from 1st date to 2 months.
But typically it is around the 4th date for me.
You will decided based on your gut and based on how much you like him, how into you he appears to be, how comfortable you are with your body etc. etc. Just one bit of advise...have a condom near by in case he doesn't bring one. I've gone this route until I know the relationship has long term committment potential and then have us both tested so we can show each other that we are "clean" .

I suggest you dont have sex until you get married. Having sex is serious buisness.
Do not have sex unless you seriously love the person. There isn't a right amount of time, you will know if you are ready

well everyone can give you their opinion as to how long THEY would wait but YOU have to make the decision for yourself. your goin to be the one living with your actions not them.. but it something that should be special between you and that person and when that happens then you be with them but there is no certain time to wait.. your jus waiting on the right time when you and your partner BOTH feel it is right

Long enough for respect to be established and maintain.
While a guy is unlikely to turn down sex on the first date, he's equally likely to request a second date, unless it is just for sex.
Make sure your relationship is based on something other than just sex before you jump into bed together.
