How do i delete a program from my computer?

Question

Im trying to delet this thing but everytime i try to delete it, something pops up and says it is being used by another program and to shut down the other program. But it there is no program to close down. i would really appreciate the help thank you.

Did u try using the control panel? I have Windows XP and all i have to do is use the control panel and select "Add or Remove Programs" It really depends on the kind of computer you have...try giving more details about your computer. Then maybe i can help you with deleting that program.

Restart in "safe" mode, as this loads only the minimum required drivers and programs.

Then use "control panel, add/remove programs" and remove the program. If you can't, it may be a "needed" program or possibly add or spy ware, in which case you will need to run a scan, (also from safe mode) to find it and remove or "quarantine" the program.

Restart your computer, and while it is starting keep clicking "F8" key .
Choose "Safe mode"
and then wait a little, and then delete the program you want by the regular way ... and that to go to "Cotrol panel" and "add or remove programs" ......... thats allll! :)

Select the program you want removed and ciick remove.
