I'm sure its painful but I'm wondering if its safe health wise or not.

sure, it's no less safe than any other tattoo can potentially be. as long as you follow all aftercare instructions and get a good artist.

It is absolutely safe to tattoo your head......ink will not seep into your brain and poison you.....However what nobody else is pointing out.....your hair is going to turn the color of the ink it grows through....Isn't that amazing? That's also why I'm wearing a do-rag or a head in all MY pics....

All tattoos have some chance of an infection. What matters the most is whether you get it by a competent artist and follow all aftercare instructions.

Yeah man it totally is!.. I was at the tattoo studio the other day and one of the artists had one on his head.. all go man!

my artists friend who is also a tattoo artist has his whole head done, search the net for "the enigma" & "leopard man" they are the 2 more well known ones that spring to mind, dunno how it goes about healing and your hair growing in tho, guess it would look a bit of a mess for a while till it heals and you can shave your head regularly again, but when you consider how long your going to have it, its a small price to pay

It is actually dangerous to the body.
Because the brain is next to the the tattoo and then it can harm the brain by the leftover minerals of the tattoo which like goes into the skin

Nope its not safe wherever you put it but definetly n ot on your head! You want ink poisoning on your brain?!!!!
Unless you want t be mentally challenged because it will cause memory damage believe it or not.
