My Mum told me that if I ate the crusts on my bread, it would make my hair curl.

You can't always trust your mother.

There's no way to make it "naturally" curly when it's not. If you hate curlers, you can either plait your hair while it's wet & leave for as long as possible, or you can lift small sections ( depending on how curly you want the result ) of hair, then just twist it into a rope like piece, tie a rubber band at the end, & repeat with the rest of the hair or only on the parts you want curly. Again, the longer you leave the curlier & more time it will stay that way.

In order to have naturally curly hair, you have to be born with it. There used to be a rod of some type that you wrapped the hair around, that gave you curly hair when the rods were removed, but I'm not sure what they're called or if they even still sell them. You can shop at a salon supply store & ask if they sell such a thing. Maybe they know of something else that will give you the curl you want.

No there is no other way but you can crimp it but it wont be curly it will be crimped. If you get a purm that is the best way to do it because it will always be curly well inless the purm comes out after a year or so.

My hair is also very straight and i find it best to wash and roller set it when damp and then in my set overnight for curls the next morning or i wash and roller set it in the morning and let it air dry during the day if i am going out in the evening.
I do not beleive in using heated appliances like curling tongs or heated rollers in my hair as they can cause heat damage

there's no way that you can get it naturally curly without a perm but try using shockwaves curl booster mousse when ur hair is damp. Run the mousse through your hair and then scrunch it slightly. let it dry naturally and it should curl your hair. it works for me!

After washing your hair put it in to several braids and leave it over night before undoing the braids
or just use curlers they give a better curl

you can't get it naturally curly if you aren't born with it. that's what natural means. but when your hair is damp from the shower at night, you can take little pieces and twist it a lot then just pin the whole strand to your head and take it out the next day!

I think the hole leaving your hair wet idea is good, but you should get a product called NOODLE HEAD, my friend has very thin straight hair and this works for her. I use it as well but I have wavy hair so it works great for me. I get it from Sally's Beauty supply store. Good Luck ;) It's in an orange container.
