Most airlines, yes you can. I travel frequently within the US and I've always been able to bring 2 carry ons.

Some airlines only allow one carry on, so it's best to check with the airline you're flying on to be sure. They should have the information on their website, or you can call their toll free number.

If you can't bring both, I'd find a way to fit the laptop and camera in the same bag as both are expensive pieces of equipment and I wouldn't let them out of my possesion.

Yes, depending on the company you will be flying with.

I would call the flight company you chose and ask them, giving them your flight information, if you have it.

They would be able to give you information in depth. More that what anyone on Yahoo! Answers could give you.
