what if everyone contributed to make something (like a giant filter) that would help purify the air in the atmosphere, or to invent something(like a spray) that would cling to methane and pollution molecules and bring them down to the ground and out of the air?

i dont think its impossible, i just think it takes alot of money which the world has, and the absence of ignorence that the world has toward out environment.

As you say, the technology is there to clean up future and probably existing pollution, but to do it will cut into the profits of the corporations and we all know they have more power than brains. Even if the little guy pays for it they are not going to use it. Too much bother.

Such a thing exists more effective than any we could build. It is called plants! ;-)
And money isn't nearly as abundant as you seem to take for granted, otherwise we would be much further ahead in generating non polluting energy which again would do what you propose.
Keeping pollutants out of the atmosphere is much cheaper at the source (where we burn coal and oil) than filtering it out after the fact. Yet even that no one wants to spend the money on!
