Thank goodness he is alright, it must be a difficult tme for both of ou right now. One thing to remember is YOU can't fix anything about him. What you can do is be supportive, be willing to talk about it, and constantly praise him and make him aware of all the positive qualities he has. Society, unfortunately, has made us all so "appearance conscience". What truley matters is the beautiful person inside.

There isn't much you can do. I have found that only he can fix himself. Some ladies I know kinda like scars, makes the guy seem dangerous. I realize you are in a relationship with him so the only person he needs to impress is you. But the bottom line is only he can fix himself.

1) Take him to a determogolist
2) Purchase Strivectin - scar reducer
3) Get hom out of the house and go and do something
4) Time
Other than that, he sounds like a young kid to be feeling like that. As he grows older and matures that small mark on his face will not matter anymore.

I got into a car accident in 1987 my face was smashed in .I had to have plastic surgery on my face. It took me along time to realize that I was luck not to have been hurt alto worse.I could have been killed. I am lucky to have only a small scar. Let him work it out and I am sure that he will.

It will take time, wait till the stiches are out and then he might start to feel better. Self Esteem comes from the inside not the outside.

depending on where the scar is have him grow a beard for a time , be gentle with him and constantly reassure him of your love for him, that of the many facets of life, a scar is a trivial matter

Tell him that you love him no matter what happens to him and that you still find him gorgeous. And ask him if the same thing happens to you (God forbid) won't he still be in Love with you and find you beautiful ??!

Wow. Just be there for him. You know you can do all that you can, however it is going to be up to him to get his self esteem back in tact. I am certainly not Dr. Phil, but it sounds to me like there are deeper issues there that he needs to deal with. Please know that he is going to have to work on whatever those issues are in order to get it together.

just tell him that you love him and give him lots of kisses then tell him how you feel and if hes not confy with it he can always get some of that scar cream that will make it less visable.
