An online relationship can't totally work out. I mean you can talk with the one you like but you can't touch him , kiss him and do all these things...Furthermore you can't go out with him and if you or he chaets you it's reallynormal , because relationships can't work just online! We need physical contact it's not the same thing , is it? I would ask the people who have on online relationship: Don't you ever want someone to hold , to kiss to have by your side? And don't you find a huge temptation when you see someone you like and you can't be with this one because of your online relationship?

most of the time neither do I but it's the fact that they are holding onto something that they think will last because the person they have a relationship with on-line usually is just like them.

It means that they live far apart, yet they've built an emotional relationship. I don't really like long-distance relationships, but for some people, this strengthens their emotional bond.
