my son has it and im worried ill get it while hes still sick and ill need help taking care of him, but someone said if i lasted 48 hours after he first showed signs then im in the clear, is this true or should i still be worried?

It could take 3-5 days to contract the virus. But then again it depends on what it is! No you still have to worry about getting the virus because you have not lasted 3-5 days. If I were you I would take echinactia vitamins and drink plenty of orange juice.

It depends on the specific virus's incubation period. But don't worry too much, drink fresh orange juice and vitamins and keep your hands clean and change the air in the house, without creating drafts or getting cold. This is pretty much all you can do, and hope your immune system is stronger. I bet you'll be fine and your son too.
