I just returned from the Hotel Mariano on 3/14 after a four day stay. The room we were in had a double bed, a single bed, and a dresser that when pulled open was another bed. Don't ask, I don't know why - it did not function anything like a dresser. We were in room 306, it had a nice view of the piazza across the street. The hotel is undergoing a renovation, this room had been recently redone. It is only about three blocks from the train station, so it is really easier to get around the city from here. The breakfast was the most meager of anywhere we stayed in Italy, but that wasn't a big deal to me. They do not have internet but there are a lot of internet portals around there. For the reasonable cost though it was clean and I was easily able to sleep.
