Would it be ok to take a xanax the next day after a night of drinking (basically during a hangover)? I

Well Fred, not the best thing to do after going out on a binder. The liver is still oxidizing the alcohol in your system It can only do this to one thing at a time adding xanax to your body will cause it to stay in your system much longer then normal. Give your liver a break, don't try to destroy it, save the pills for later.

I've taken it before, and had no problems, just don't drink after taking it.

To prevent hangovers in the future, drink water in between beers or other drinks and take B vitamines. Thiamine and other B vitamines prevents the shakey nervous alcohol withdrawl. Dehydration and loss of electrolytes causes the headache and the dizziness. Gatorade and other sports drinks are good.

As long as the vitamines have no iron, you can't take too many.
If in doubt about the Xanax though, call the pharmacy and ask.

After drinking to rid a hangover,drink gatorade it will rehydrate you.You will feel a lot better than the alternative.
