Yeah, it's always better to run with someone else! I'm on multiple teams, and that's the best way to make friends, and find a lot of people that are of the same skill level as you. It makes the time go by faster and it's a lot easier to train. We call it "train without the pain."

It depends on the season; I'm in high school, so in the fall, part of the summer, and spring, I've got track and cross country. As a result, I usually have a partner or a group to run with during those seasons, because we spend so much time together practicing anyway. During the winter and parts of the summer, I run alone, just because it's more convienient, and I can't really find anyone who wants to run at the same time as me. Usually I use music when I run alone too, just because I have such loud footsteps that it always sounds like someone is running right behind me, and that freaks me out, since it sounds like a stalker or someone is chasing me.

I run with friends on Sunday when we do an easy 6 miles. The rest of the time I run alone. It is easier to run early in the morning. Plus I do track in the spring and summer, so there are not a lot of people who want to do interval training on the track 2-3 days a week.

Alone!! I cant find anyone near me who has the same fitness level as me, so i run alone! It is way better to run with someone else, i did it for a little while, but then my mate just stopped! I listen to music, next best thing. But just recently my mp3 player has broke! So now i have next to nothing to keep me going, except for good old will power!!

I'm with "jesta.drifter"
Running the mountain trails alone, no music, hearing the birds and the wind through the tops of the pines, and the smell of the pines. It is a mind cleanser!

I love to run alone with no music. Most of my running is on mountain trail in the sierra's and it is quite beautiful.
