THIS WORKS FAST & CHEAP!!!
I used Tetracyclin, Proactive, Retina A and had many expensive facials with less than good results.
This has worked for me and many many other happy people. Go to pharm.,Drug store, or Walmart,
buy "PURPOSE" bar of soap - Blue box - Made by Johnson & Johnson - wash your face with this
2-3x's per day. Also pick up a LOW strength Benzoyl-peroxide cream, apply the cream by dabbing
to the individual blemishes.... DONT rub it in works using a oxidation/reduction reaction...DONT over
use this or put anywhere else on your face.. It will cause drying and make you look worse. Also, If need
which probably will for moisture ASK FOR "NUTRADERM lotion" - the orginal not the new stuff, this works
great and wont clog pores or leave a residue on your skin...Additonal TIPS: acne, pimples, etc are
frequently cause by a bacteria or hormone issues.... DONT PICK POP POKE (your hands are the
dirtiest part of your body) and will cause: infections, spreading of germs, more breakouts and scarring
DONT EVER listen to people online who tell you to scrub your sensative skin or use harsh chemicals
such as: Lemon juice, vinagar, alcohol, etc... DONT EVER use that APRICOT CRAP!!! DONT USE
PROACTIVE- this is expensive and harsh it may kill the bacteria cause also Benzoyl based wash but
will irritate skin and cause bleaching of face and neck.... Other similar treatments may work.. also
things such as Accutane but have serious side effects.... THIS WORKS FAST AND CHEAP!!! I no
longer get expensive facials, take oral antibiotics, or even NEED makeup... I am very happy - Have
very good skin... and have many many other happy friends... THANKS again to my WONDERFUL
DERMATOLOGIST... TRY THIS!! GOOD LUCK.... PS. "PURPOSE" costs about $3-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------PSS ---specific to your issue... Hormonal Im sure... probably will get better over time... My face also was clearer on BCP's ... now have 3 daughters.... had this issue as an adult.. never pimples as teen etc... got pimples in mid 20's... after stopping BCP's and anyway... no longer take any oral medications... and have great skin again...

Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.

In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.

Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.

In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.

If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

There are many things playing into account here. If you got off the pill because you are TTC, there could be a major stress factor. Your body is probably trying to get back to its hormonal balance as well. Something to try is over the counter acne products. Wash your face with a mild cleanser, use a toner, and a moisturizer made for the face. Do this twice a day. If you are TTC, make sure the products don't have salicylic acid in them.

Ask a dermatologist about acne medications for women that are trying to conceive. That is very important because some acne medications are a no-no while you're preggo, for example accutane (sp?) or any retinol product. Back when I was in college, I used Proactive, which contains benzoyl peroxide and my dr told me that those products are safe during pregnancy. Proactive completely cleared up my skin, and quickly too! I've noticed on the commercials that it's cheaper than ever so I would seriously try that. Good luck!!!

your hormones may be playing tricks on you since you got off the pill, hence the skin break-out. give it time, it'll eventually mellow down. meanwhile, make sure you keep your face clean -- wash your face with water and facial soap, use toner, moisturizer, etc... dnot over-do it either, bec then it might cause you more problems. getting real sleep hours and drinking tons of water throughout the day will help out too.

How old are you? Usually, this will subside a few months because your body's hormones are trying to level back out. Pimples are caused by sebum and stress... try washing your face every day with a mild soap (so that you don't over-dry) and exercise to reduce stress.

there are a number of treatments available depending on your budget, I recommend something like acnezine which come with herbal pills and benzoyl peroxide moisturizing cream. clearpores is another good one which has salicylic acid as the active ingredients.

Also you might consider cheap oxy pads at the local drug store which are somewhat effective.
