Is there supposed to be some special feeling as kissing... I felt like it just wasn't happening.

It depends on what stage in the relationship you're at when you kiss him. If it's a first kiss, then you may feel like you're in a dream-like trance. When you're in a deeper relationship, you may just feel like your heart's swelling with warmth. It varies from person to person, but if you mind's preoccupied with other thoughts, then you may completely block out the feelings from a kiss.

If there's no chemistry between you and the person you are kissing, then ya won't feel anything other than the physical act of the kiss.
However if you were quite nervous, it may be you were too worried about what was happening to allow yourself any emotional feeling. You should be able to tell, outside of kissing, if you have any spark/chemistry toward this person. If not, move on.

Alot of times we kiss because we think the other person wants to .Ive kissed a woman b4 and was like OK see ya lata,and others like MARRY ME. maybe your not kissing the right gender lol.

Your body normally reacts to kissing. The touch of lips and tongue is a special thing. Don't think of ANYTHING ELSE other than the act of kissing.. then you will enjoy it.

sweetie, that's just how i felt the first time, it didn't hit me till later, i'm still waiting to meet a guy that i will feel special when i kiss him...don't worry, i'm finding life isn't like the movies at ALL!!

The first kiss can be awkward and some people are just bad kissers. You have to look at the whole package.
