Every recipe I've seen calls for 9-10 hours, but those generally are bone-in meats that are 4-5 lbs. I don't want to overcook Sunday night dinner :)

If you set it on high, it should be done in about 3-4 hours. In a slow cooker, you really can't overcook it, especially not with an inexpensive pork butt. You want that to be cooked to the falling-apart point. I do anyway!

I've never seen a 14 oz pork butt. Is it a chunk of pork butt? Anyway, I would say 4 hour slow, 2 hours high. Cook it until you can shred it with a fork.

Boneless...6-8 hours on low.
