Never been to Minnesota. But normally there's an attendant outside of the airport doors that can check your bags for you. When you pull up to the "departures" entrance, they may ask for your bags and flight number before you even ask them. They'll weigh your bags, tag 'em, and you're all done. Don't forget to tip!
