He can easily do that and still remain a Holy and righteous God.
However, he wanted to show mankind his love! and he successfully did that! What a great God he is.

Of course he could, but some times it serves his purpose to allow things to go on as they are for a time. But we can see from the following Scripture, that that won't be the case indefinitely...
Psalm 37: 9-11, 29, 38 "For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.
10Â And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;
And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.
11Â But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it
38 But the transgressors themselves will certainly be annihilated together;
The future of wicked people will indeed be cut off."

Maybe that would be the most efficient thing to do with a soul after death - its not like the humans would know any different. They'd just die and stop existing... and if you can imagine that you're halfway to working out what actually happens.

No because he does not exist. The christian god cannot be all powerfull as so much goes wrong with the world so he either is not all powerfull or he just doesn't care. Either way you won't find me wasting my sundays at any church.

Yes He can, but what purpose would that serve? Then God would not be considered Love if He killed people at will.
