Smoking causes 440,000 deaths every year in the USA alone. 50 deaths per hour. The average smoker loses 12 years from their life. Not a couple months: 12 YEARS. There is no excuse nor explanation for why people smoke.

I don't smoke and I'm glad that I don't. I have a brother with lung cancer and I see what it's done to him, it's just not worth smoking.

Well, I've been a smoker, and need to quit. Why? Because I'm 33, and I already have severe hypertension...I'm like a walking time bomb!

I am a smoker. Don't ever start. It's expensive, dirty, habit-forming and terribly difficult to quit.
