Concerning roundworms, puppies do have roundworms and they should be dewormed at 2, 4, 6 & 8 weeks of age by the breeder and then periodically after. No need to worry just simply call your vet when they open and go pick up the appropriate dewormer (the vet should have dewormed him when you were there for exam and vacciantion, I think I would consider finding a different vet)

I'm sorry to hear that your puppy was vaccinated too young.A puppy shouldn't have vacciantions before it has completed it's 7th week and preferably 8 -9 weeks. Giving them too young interfers with their natural immunity, can suppress their immune system and can make them more suseptable to the very illness the vaccination is suppose to protect against. It also can cause future problems with adverse reactions to vacciantions. The AVMA/AAHA and all 27 vet schools endorse and highly recommend NO vacciantions before 8 weeks. All vets in the US have been notified of this.

Also be aware that unless this puppy is from your own female that it is against the law to buy, sell adopt or give away any puppy that hasn't completed it's 7th week and in some states 8 weeks.

Roundworms is the most common internal parasite/worm found in our pets nationwide. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) believes that close to 100% of all dogs are born with roundworm. Roundworms are transmitted by one of this ways: walking through an area with high concentrations of roundworm eggs (high concentration of feces or "poop"; the dog walks through this area then licks its paws, thereby ingesting the roundworm eggs), transplacentally (meaning through the placenta; AKA in-utero), and transmammary (the pups nursing from a female that have roundworms; there is a transmission of the worm through the milk).

Pups need to be on the following deworming schedule: at two, four, six, and eight weeks of age. The dewormer can be purchased from you Veterinarian for less than $15. Dont worry, this is common, however you do need to get the dewormer. Puppies/dogs that have a high load of any type of worms or internal parasites can have health problems and in extreme cases can die.

When your puppy reaches 16 to 24 weeks of age, then you will want to start him/her on a heartworm preventative. The heartworm preventative has ingredients in addition to preventing heartworm disease also prevents the infestation of roundworms and hookworms.

round worms are very common but not good for the dog. I would suggest you get your dog on a wormer like panacure. If you are unsure about what to do you can always call your vet and ask. More than likely they will put your dog on a wormer and the problem should clear up in about a week. You should also make sure your dog gets heart worm meds about once a month as well. Good Luck

Just so you know, your dog will be fine for the rest of the weekend. Dogs who have worms really bad are usually all skin and bone. A simple call to your vet and you should have all the info you need on what to do and how detrimental it is to your dogs overall health.
